Theresa Carilli and Jane Campbell are seeking research articles and essays for a new book which addresses the global status of women in the media. Topics might include stereotypical depictions, political activism, women as commodoties, hegemony and the status quo, a new look at the male gaze, and women who are media pioneers. Please send all abstracts by March 1, 2010. Final articles due by July 1, 2010.
