The Arkansas Conference on Literature, Rhetoric, and Composition is scheduled for November 13-14, 2010 on the campus of Henderson State University. Essays on any area of literature (American, British, world, classical, medieval, modern, contemporary, colonial/post-colonial, etc.), literary theory, rhetoric, or composition are welcome. Abstracts should be received by September 30, 2010. Papers should be no more than 20 minutes reading time (roughly 3000-3500 words). Full panel proposals are also encouraged. Electronic submissions are preferred. We will be accepting submissions for consideration for the refereed journal The Midsouth Journal of Modern and Contemporary Literature. Graduate student submissions for both are also encouraged. There will be a $35 registration fee, payable at the conference.
