Call for Papers:
Submission Deadlines: March 15 / peer review April 15 / Publication: May 15.
Examinations of the re-constructionist and surviving traditions of Goddess and Earth centered spiritual traditions including (but not linted to) the performance traditions of First Peoples, Stregheria, Slavic Paganism and Witchcraft, Wicca and Neo-Pagan revivals. Large events such as The Annual Reclaiming Community's Samhain Spiral Dance, Mummer's Plays, Beltane/May Day ritual enactments, community "Sing up the Sun" Winter Solstice events, Pagan Pride events, and ritual performances of all kinds reflective of the growing performance and ritual theatre traditions developing within the larger Pagan and Earth Centered spiritual traditions. This issue will also include very large events with "pagan" elements such as Burning Man Festival, Faerieworld music festival, Druidic gatherings at Stonehenge, and "trance" dance events.
Please note: Musicians and artists are refereed on a different - more appropriate - criteria than scholars and researchers.

Style and length: While there is no hard and fast rule concerning length, articles should be between 3,000 and 10,000 words in length. Our preferred stylistic format is MLA - 6th edition or APA - 4th edition. Both are equally accepted. Be consistent and precise in your citations and references. Copyright and reprinting rights remain with the author.
Regarding human subject research material: Attach proof of fully informed human subject research under IRB international law guidelines. Please keep all subject identities confidential, but be prepared to defend your research. Your paper will not be published without this information.
