On 10-11 February 2010 the Baltic Defence College in Tartu, Estonia, will host a two-day academic workshop on the subject of the NATO strategic Concept and how this might impact the Baltic Region. This is a follow on workshop based on the workshop on this subject done in October 2009.

We are organizing panels that will cover all aspects of the NATO Strategic Concept to include discussion of such subjects as the future of NATO nations’ force structures, engagement strategies, relations with PfP countries, new military doctrines, national procurement strategies, threat assessments, and national strategic visions.

All Baltic Defence College workshops are open to academics, graduate students, and military and government personnel from the region. We can support some of the speakers per housing and transportation to the workshop.
