Announcing the 2009 issue of "Chinese Southern Diaspora Studies", an annual, open access, electronic journal, is now available at http://csds.anu.edu.au. The 3rd issue focuses on diasporic Chinese in Indonesia and Malaya/Malaysia, past and present. The 7 research articles comprise essays by Pin-tsun Chang, Claudine Salmon, George Bryan Souza, CY Hoon, Margaret Chan, Florence Graezer Bideau & Mondher Kilani, and James Chin; the 4 research notes are by Fransisca Handoko, Akh Muzakki, Tojo Tetsuo, and Tan Teng-Phee.
