Call for submissions on Chinese diasporic experience in Vietnam, from the early modern period until the present, for the 2010 issue of "Chinese Southern Diaspora Studies".
"Chinese Southern Diaspora Studies" invites established scholars and senior graduate students in any discipline who are researching some aspect of Chinese experience in Vietnam, from the early modern period to the present day, to submit original articles (+6000-14,000 words) or short research notes/data papers (up to 5000 words) for its 2010 issue that focuses on Chinese in Vietnam. Original research articles in English should reach the editor, Nola Cooke, no later than 30 April 2010, to allow time for assessment and revision before publication by December 2010. Research notes, data papers, or translations of primary sources, are published at the editors' discretion and will be accepted until 31 August 2010. 'CSDS' is an annual, bi-lingual electronic journal published by the ANU Centre for the Study of the Chinese Southern Diaspora. The Australian Research Council rates it as equivalent to 'Crossroads' and 'Sojourn'.
