The Journal of Southeast Asian Studies (JSEAS) is looking for suitable materials (like images of scripts and objects) to adorn the cover (front and back) of each issue. Scholars and researchers who own such materials and want to have them displayed can approach the JSEAS Editorial Board with samples for its consideration. Specifically, the JSEAS is looking for materials that fit the following specifications:
(a) The materials must relate to Southeast Asia
(b) The materials, if found suitable, will be used to adorn the covers of 3 issues (or one entire volume appearing in a calendar year) on a no-fee basis
(c) Contributors will have to secure copyright clearances before submission
(d) Contributors will be acknowledged on the inside back cover
(e) Contributors will be asked to submit a written and brief explanation of the materials that can be printed on the inside back cover of each issue. For example, scripts must be translated into English
(f) The materials should preferably suit the colour scheme of the cover of the JSEAS, which currently is green
(g) The Editorial Board of the JSEAS will make the final decision whether the materials are suitable, and schedule them accordingly for use on the covers
Thank you for reading this announcement and we look forward to your response.
