The 2010 SW/TX PCA/ACA Conference will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Hyatt Regency downtown. Join us next spring, as a returning or first-time participant, at this regional popular culture conference that draws an international roster of participants. Further details regarding the conference (listing of all panel areas, hotel, registration, tours, etc.) can be found at http://www.swtexaspca.org. A number of graduate student awards are given each year, and graduate student travel grants are also available.
Proposals are now being sought for review in the Film Theory Area. Review begins immediately and continues until December 15, 2009. Listed below are some suggestions for possible presentations, but topics not included here are also welcome:
