The attention has now shifted to the prospects and conditions for the resumption of growth in the context of the Enlarged Europe and globally. Whilst the debate on national policies to sustain demand, firms and employment remains intense, there is still little room for thoughts on the transnational dimension of the competitiveness of the system, considering that there has been a strong process of trade and production systems’ integration. The reference is mainly to the region bathed by the Adriatic Sea, the basin of the Danube and the Black Sea: this call aims to outline the conditions under which it will be possible to develop an even more integrated and competitive economy in new market conditions.
Deadline for submission: march 1st 2010.
Selected articles will be published in the refereed Section of Est-Ovest.
