Proposal are requested for a six-day seminar hosted by the Durrell School of Corfu, Greece, 16-21 May, 2010. Moderator is Peter Mackridge, Professor Emeritus, University of Oxford. The seminars aims to bring together experts in all aspects of the history and culture of the Ionian Islands in a unique attempt to take an interdisciplinary overview of the history and culture of this group of islands whose development is quite distinct from that of the rest of Greece. Submit 2 pages for consideration by the Board to Anthony Hirst, Academic Director, a.hirst@qub.ac.uk and copied to the Durrell School, durrells@otenet.gr by 1 February 2010.
