Dictionary of Literary Biography: American Writers of the Second World War
Contributors needed for a monograph on American War Correspondents during the Second World War. Europe was lodged in the worst conflict in history when America entered the war in December 1941. American soldiers, sailors and marines were mobilized and sent off to defeat the Axis powers, and their exploits were reported to the American public by a stream of sturdy journalists who accompanied the American military.
This work is already under contract (Dictionary of Literary Biography) and due for production by the end of 2010 so only authors able to produce entries on schedule should inquire. Possible contributors are encouraged to send a brief curriculum vitae and a note outlining their specific area of specialization. If selected for the project, the editor will send a listing of the entries open for submission, and a set of guidelines.
Please direct proposals and inquiries to Dr. Jeffery B Cook at jcook@ngu.edu.
