CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS: ABC-CLIO is pleased to announce the preparation of a new three-volume general reference set on the history of the nineteen sixties. The work will cover notable personages, events, epochs, crises, and cultural trends of the tumultuous decade. Potential contributors are encouraged to send a copy of their curriculum vitae and brief note stating their areas of specialization and interests. After receipt of the materials, the editors will send a listing of articles open for submission, and a set of writing guidelines. Each entry contains the name of the contributor. Payment for the submissions based on a sliding scale, ranging from two cents per word up to $250.00 and a set of books for 10,000 words. Upon request, we will send the entry sheet. Contributors may select as many entries that they believe they can complete in one hundred days from the day they receive their contracts. Publication is set for January 2011.
