CFP for the American Association for Italian Studies conference in Ann Arbor, MI, 22-25 April 2010. This panel or sequence of panels invites papers examining figures and issues in Italian political thought from the Renaissance to the present, from Machiavelli and Campanella, through Vico and Beccaria, to Michelstaedter, Gramsci, Agamben, and beyond.
