The Underhill Organizing Committee at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, will be holding the 16th annual Underhill Graduate Student Colloquium on March 4-5, 2010.
The kenote address, "What Makes Public History Different?" will be delivered by Dr. Steven High of Concordia University, renowned for his work on oral, labour, and cultural history. As well, Dr. Audra Diptee, Carleton University, will present her ongoing research on childhood and slavery in the Atlantic World.
The Organizing Committee is ready to receive proposals on any topic related to history. Proposals should be no longer than 300 words and support presentations between 15 and 20 minutes in duration.
The deadline for submission is 15 January 2010.
