The Film Theory and Criticism panel is an open panel within the Film Studies strand of papers at the Rocky Mountains Modern Languages Convention. You can submit papers on any topic relating to these two areas of film study.
The conference is from Oct 14-16th in Albuquerque, New Mexico and you have to be a paid up member of the RMMLA by April 1st 2010 to attend and speak. Membership and Conference Fees are always very reasonable.
Proposals should consist of the following:
Name
Institution or Affiliation
Job title or PhD area of study (e.g. PhD student working on Film and Gender Trangression)
Title of Abstract
Abstract of 250-350 words
If you are willing to be a co-chair.
Submissions are due by 8.00 GMT on March 1st 2010 but don't let that stop you from email me before then.
