This panel will be focusing on the way in which landscape is represented as an articulation of national identities.The media for analysis could include any of the arts but it is anticipated that the main foci will be film, art (including photography) and literature.
The conference takes place October 14-16 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and papers will be about 20 minutes in duration.
All panel members will need to be members of the Rocky Mountains Modern Languages Association by April 1st 2010 in order to be able to present but membership and the conventions fees themselves are quite reasonable.
