The Politicized Practice Research Group at Loughborough University School of Art and Design (LUSAD) is organising a free one-day symposium- RadicalAesthetics-RadicalArt on WEDNESDAY 17th February 2010. RadicalAesthetics-RadicalArt introduces a series of research initiatives that will examine the intersections between philosophical ideas and practices and between art and aesthetics. Speakers include Gary Anderson (Institute of Art & Practice of Dissent), Esther Leslie (Birkbeck College, University of London), Stewart Martin (Middlesex University), John Russell (Reading University) and Mark Titchner (artist). The symposium is a free event but there will be a small charge for lunch. Please note that it is essential to book a place.
