The Institute for African Ecology and Philosophy, under the leadership of Mr. Boaz Adhengo would wish to extend a warm invitation to scholars and community based organisations to participate in the six organisation of World Philosophy Day as facilitated by IAEP since 2003.
The event is scheduled to take place on the 19 November 2009 at the Institute for African Ecology and Philosophy information center in Upper Hill, the main themes for discussion will be:
Philosophy and Enviromnent
Philosophy and Eco - Ethics
Philosophy and the Youth
Philosophy and Cultural Diversity
Philosophy as an avenue for Peace
There will be round table discussions revolving on the main theme of this event, which will be Peace, Justice and Education: Challenges for a Philosophical Dialogue
All are welcome and you need to RSVP early in order to secure parking space and also for ease in our preperations.
