Empowering Women: The Economic Imperative
** Expression of Interest from speakers now open**
This international conference, hosted by The Women’s College, is expected to attract over a hundred delegates and is open to everyone working, involved or interested in women’s education. Female secondary and tertiary students are encouraged to attend. Guest Speakers include:
• Professor Denise Bradley AC, former Vice-Chancellor, University of South Australia, and Chair of the recent Review of Higher Education
• Wendy McCarthy AO, Educator, Change Agent and Public Intellectual
• Amanda Ellis, Lead Specialist, Gender Group Action Plan, World Bank
• Jane Sloane, Executive Director, International Women’s Development Agency
• Tracey Beck, Director Alumni and Community Relations, University of Sydney
The Office for Women’s Policy has partnered with The Women’s College to provide a funding opportunity for female secondary and tertiary students in non-metro areas of NSW to attend the Conference.
