The 11th annual Literary Festival will be held at Newman University in Wichita, KS on April 10-11, 2010. This year’s theme is “E-scapes: The Possibility for Hope in a Post-Literary America.” The keynote speaker is Sherryl Vint, author of Bodies of Tomorrow: Technology, Subjectivity, Science Fiction and Animal Alterity: Science Fiction and the Question of the Animal. Guest speakers include Dr. Timothy Richardson, Dr. Michael Austin, Dr. Bryan D. Dietrich, and Wendy Donaldson. Interdisciplinary or creative approaches to this or related topics are welcome and encouraged. Submit 250-word abstracts to Dr. Bryan Dietrich at kryptonnights@yahoo.com by March 15th.
