A course of 20 illustrated lectures on 'The Art and Archeology of the Indian Sub-Continent' by Dr. John R. Marr and Mrs. Wendy A P Marr.
This Certificate Course of 25 lectures will be held on Tuesdays, beginning Nov 24, 2009 and ending on April 4, 2010.
Classes are for 90 minutes, beginning at 6.45pm and include time for discussion. Optional Essay work Written Exam result in a Certificate. The fee for the course is £295.
About Dr.John Marr and Mrs. Wendy Marr: Dr. John r Marr is The Bhavan's Honorary General Secretary, formerly Lecturer in South Indian Studies at the SOAS, University of London, where he taught South Asian Art and Archeology of for 18 years between 1974 and 1992, and is currently at SOAS's Post Graduate Asian Art Diploma Programme. Mrs. Wendy Marr is a freelance lecturer on Indian Art History.
