The goal of this Symposium is to bring together scholars, post-graduate and graduate researchers to share experiences, linking theoretical, methodological and case-study perspectives in all sciences. It will also take into account historical research on women scientists, the social problems linked to their research (parity, glass ceiling, discrimination, etc.), and scientific analysis and its development from a feminist point of view.
Please send proposals (in English, French or Spanish) to Carmen Cortés at ccortes@uma.es or Victoria Serrano at vserrano@uma.es by December 10, 2009. Proposals must be accompanied by two documents :
Document 1: Author(s) information
- For each author: last name, first name, working centre
- E-mail address, telephone
- Short CV
Document 2: Abstract
- Abstract length: 3000 characters
- Rtf format, 12-point Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing
- The abstract should contain a short descriptive title and a short bibliography, and summarize the purpose of the study, methods, main results, and implications.
The authors of the accepted proposals should submit a complete poster in English, French or Spanish (in one or more pages, including a design with page position if necessary, format A4 / pdf) by February 28, 2010.
Poster dimensions: 594mm x 841mm (A1)
The poster sessions will be held on:
Thursday March 18 from 11:30 to 12:30 and from 17:30 to 18:45
Friday March 19 from 12 to 13 :15 and from 17:30 to 18:45
At least one of the poster authors must be present at the conference.
The abstracts and the images of the posters will be published in a CD that will be distributed to conference participants and in an ISBN web publication.
