Call for Papers: Pacific Sociological Association: Down Here on the Ground: Connecting Theory to the Real World for Our Students

Presentation proposals are being accepted for the Down Here on the Ground: Connecting Theory to the Real World for Our Students session of the 2010 Pacific Sociological Association meeting in Oakland, CA, April 8th-11th 2010.
The session organizer seeks presentations from faculty and/or graduate students who are currently
teaching or have recently taught Theory courses in the social sciences and would like to share their innovative and creative ways for connecting the often abstract and seemingly disconnected world of Theory to our students’ contemporary lives.
Please send presentation titles and abstracts of 200-250 words via e-mail by November 10th 2009 to mpbarnes75@gmail.com Make sure to include home department and institutional affiliation with your proposal.
