The editorial collective of the Journal of Social and Policy Sciences (J-SAPS) invites submissions of scholarly articles for its inaugural issue. We have conceived the Journal as a publication that addresses the present dearth of quality research journals in Pakistan that follow a proper peer-review policy. The Journal is going to be the flagship periodical publication of the Institute of Social and Policy Sciences, Islamabad, which will follow the guidelines for peer-review publications as set by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, which are in line with standard international practices.

The Journal will publish scholarly articles in the fields of social theory, public policy, institutional reforms, social justice, and equitable distribution of public capital. As a matter of editorial policy, the journal will not entertain research on warfare and foreign policy. It will, however, encourage submissions on the local social consequences of global strategic shifts, neo-colonialism, and structural adjustments as they impact the citizens of Pakistan specifically and South Asia generally.

Articles, from 6000 to 10,000 words, should be sent to journal@i-saps.org as word documents.

The Journal follows the citation style of the American Sociological Association.

The researchers whose articles are accepted will be offered an honorarium of US $100 per article.

Published twice a year, J-SAPS accepts submissions throughout the year.
