The 38th annual meeting of the Southwest Conference on Asian Studies (SWCAS), a regional conference for the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) will be held from Friday, Oct. 16 - Saturday, October 17 at the University of Texas at Austin.
The conference will feature panels by scholars in all disciplines and all areas of Asia. The keynote address, "Forests and the Environmental History of India" will be delivered by Dr. Kalyanakrishnan Sivaramakrishnan at 5:15 on Friday, Oct. 16 in AT&T 203.
