The Mystery/Detective Fiction section of the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association invites scholars to submit proposals for the February 2010 conference in Albuquerque. (The exact days of our panels will be announced later, but the conference is always Wednesday-Saturday in mid February.
We invite proposals in all fields of Mystery/Detective fiction, but are especially interested in proposals dealing with relevant fiction written in less commonly spoken languages, fiction written by minority, women, GLBT authors, and fiction which is being analyzed from feminist, deconstructionist, Marxist, etc. standpoints. However, all proposals will be considered (send in your proposals on Sherlock Holmes if you wish) and we will attempt to schedule additional sections if necessary.
