The 8th WISH international workshop for young scholars will take place in Angers (France) on 26 and 27 February 2010. This conference is co-financed by the European Commission’s Jean Monnet Programme and will be organised jointly by the Centre for European Integration at ESSCA Graduate School of Management in Angers, the European Law Journal and CERIC (Centre d’Etudes et du Recherches Internationales et Communautaires de l’Université Paul Cézanne- Aix-Marseille III), in partnership with Humboldt University in Berlin.

Building on the success of the seven previous WISH workshops, the 8th edition will focus on the theme

The Visible Hand’
European and Global Perspectives on Financial Market Regulation and Economic Governance.

The WISH workshop is especially aimed at young scholars from Europe and Asia (incl. advanced doctoral students), offering them an opportunity to present their best research work in a professional academic setting to an audience of other young researchers and more senior academics. Papers can be presented in both English and French. The best papers will be published either in the form of an article in a special issue of the European Law Journal or in a bilingual edited volume (Bruylant, Brussels) destined for an international readership.

Du 26 au 27 février 2010, la « 8ème Rencontre International des Jeunes Chercheurs » (WISH) aura lieu à Angers. Cette conférence est co-financée par le Programme Jean Monnet la Commission Européenne et sera organisée conjointement par l'ESSCA (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers), le European Law Journal et le CERIC (Centre d’Etudes et du Recherches Internationales et Communautaires de l’Université Paul Cézanne- Aix-Marseille III), en partenariat avec l'Université Humboldt de Berlin.

La conférence sera axée sur le thème

« La Main Visible -
Perspectives européennes et globales sur la régulation des marchés financiers et la gouvernance économique ».

Les rencontres « WISH » ont pour mission de réunir de jeunes chercheurs en leur permettant de présenter leurs meilleurs travaux scientifiques à une audience composée de jeunes chercheurs ainsi que de chercheurs plus confirmés. Elles offrent une opportunité de publier ensuite ces travaux sous forme d'articles dans l'European Law Journal et/ou dans un livre bilingue (Editions Bruylant, Bruxelles) à destination d’un public international. En février 2010, la conférence aura lieu à l'École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (ESSCA).

La conférence sera bilingue anglais/français.
