The Center for French Colonial Studies is pleased to announce its annual conference will be held on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The all-day slate of speakers on Saturday, Oct. 17th, is preceded and followed by other events including receptions, live music, and a tour of historic Florissant.
Invited speakers include: Robert Mazrim (Univ. of Illinois), Elizabeth M. Scott and Donald Heldman (Illinois State U.), and Robert Morrissey (Lake Forest Coll.), as well as the independent historians Dennis Stroughmatt and Hilliard Goldman.
Subjects include: French archaeology, history, musicology, language, and preservation.
