Home of the John Muir Papers, University of the Pacific will host a symposium on "John Muir: Naturalist and Scientist" April 22-24, 2010. April 22 features an all day field trip by bus to John Muir National Historic Site, Martinez (space limited). On April 23-24, Muir scholars and environmental educators will present programs on campus. Several nationally-known environmental historians and writers will keynote special events.
