2010 marks the 75th anniversary of the publication of German historian Herbert Grundmann’s landmark book, Religiöse Bewegungen im Mittlelater. This panel seeks to bring together scholars whose own research engages with Grundmann’s legacy in a significant way or who can reflect on both the intellectual geneaologies and future trajectories of work in medieval religious studies in light of Grundmann’s ideas. Send proposed titles with a 250-word abstract by September 15 to John Eldevik, History Dept., Pomona College at jeldevik@pomona.edu
