The Punk Area of the Southwest Texas American/Popular Culture Association is now accepting papers for the 2010 conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Any paper dealing with the creation of Underground, self published, fan magazines that follow punk and indie bands will be considered.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
Corporate V. Independent
Fanzines: past, present, future.
What is the effect of "new media" on the creation of fanzine?

Online Registration for SWTX ACA PCA continues through December 15, 2009 which is the official deadline for submissions to the 2010 conference. Changes regarding presenter titles, names, college/university affiliation must be submitted via email to the Conference Program Specialist by December 31, 2009.
