The Institute of Caribbean Studies, of the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, is pleased to announce the lecture entitled "EL FUTURO DE CUBA: OPORTUNIDADES Y RETOS EMERGENTES PARA PUERTO RICO” by Drs. Gerardo González Núñez and Félix Cué García, Departamento de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Universidad Interamericana-Metro. Néstor Nazario, Centro de Investigaciones Sociales, UPR-RP, and José Raúl Perales, Latin American Program, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Washington, D.C., will serve as commentators. The activity will be held on Thursday, August 27, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Amphitheater 108, Carmen Rivera de Alvarado Building, Faculty of the Social Sciences, and is the first lecture of the CONFERENCIAS CARIBEÑAS 5 series.
