Registration is now open for this exciting one-day interdisciplinary conference, addressing a variety of issues surounding recent Holocaust representations.
The keynote speaker is Professor Robert Eaglestone (Royal Holloway) and there will be a range of papers on topics including: Holocaust piety; representing the perpetrators; God on trial; comparing first and second generation Holocaust memoirs; the Americanized Holocaust of Star Trek; Holocaust literature for children; videotaped oral testimony; photography and history; the role of fairytale in
Holocaust narratives; Holocaust exhibits; the Holocaust in the work of Bernhard Schlink, Anne Michaels, Claude Lanzmann, Elie Wiesel, Ruth Klüger, Georges Perec and many more.
