The Department of Medieval Art History of Complutense University is organizng several sessions for the 16th International Medieval Congress in Leeds (England). The genral topic deals with all aspects of travel and exploration in the art and architecture of Medieval Spain. The topics are not limited to representations of travel and exploration in art but also to imaginary travels, how artistic and stylistic styles travel, pilgrimages and its relation to art and architecture, ect. Abstracts should not have more than 500 words and they should be sent to Monica A. Walker at ioreth_ni_balor@hotmail.com before August 30th, 2009.
