Join the National Association of African American Studies & Affiliates Spectacular Tour of Cape Town, South Africa
The National Association of African American Studies and Affiliates (NAAAS) are excited to announce a spectacular tour of Cape Town, South Africa from July 16-26, 2010. The tour package includes a panoramic introductory excursion and ten days of unforgettable sites and scenes. Some of the tour sights include breathtaking views of Cape Town from the famous Table Mountain, a visit to Robben Island and the Prison Museum where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, South Africa’s legendary Winefield tours and the bustling city sites in Cape Town. We will visit several famous markets including Greenmarket Square, St. George’s Market and fabulous beaches.
Accommodations will be provided by the Cape Town Ritz Hotel which has the best Atlantic Seaboard view in the peninsula. The hotel offers well-appointed modern accommodations in 222 en-suite rooms and is situated within walking distance of the popular Sea Point Promenade. The Ritz has the only revolving restaurant in Cape Town.
We are soliciting your support and assistance in recruiting individuals to participate in this unique and affordable opportunity. The tour package includes roundtrip travel from Washington, D.C., seven breakfasts, two dinners and an optional one-night game tour. Airfare is $2,200 and accommodations are $1,325 based on double occupancy (Total: $3,525).
NAAAS has a very successful track record in providing unique opportunities for individuals to travel abroad.
