Internationalisation is a dynamic and complex process that has become a popular term used to describe the ways in which universities respond to globalisation, and interpretations are varied. This colloquium aims to stimulate professional conversations about internationalisation.
Proposals addressing the colloquium themes are being sought from academic teaching and research staff, undergraduate and postgraduate university students, general staff and colleagues leading internationalisation initiatives.
Key Themes:
* Supervising international students
* Internationalising the classroom
* Intercultural communication
* Internationalisation and inclusion
* International partnerships to enhance learning and teaching.
All abstracts should be approximately 300 words for 20 minute presentations, and must conform to APA fifth edition standards. Presenters will be offered the opportunity of having their papers peer-reviewed.
Keynote speaker: Hans de Wit, International higher education consultant, The Netherlands
