The Oral History Forum d’histoire orale is currently adding to its list of potential reviewers. In particular, we now seek individuals who are interested in the practice of oral history in the Canadian context. Forum is interested in reviewing books, but also exhibitions, multimedia, conferences, plays, artwork, fiction, and any other media of relevance to oral history and traditions. If you are interested in being added to this list, please contact Forum’s book review editor, Sharon Wall, at the University of Winnipeg (contact info below). When replying, please indicate your particular areas of research interest apart from oral history and tradition (eg. gender, Aboriginal, labour, etc.). Reviewers from outside post-secondary institutions and from disciplines other than history, but whose interests intersect with the study of oral history and tradition are also welcome. The Oral History Forum is the online journal of the Canadian Oral History Association. It serves as the premier meeting place for scholars, archivists, librarians, community activists and others who use oral history in their explorations of the past and present.
