APCN new site and publications announcement
You are invited to visit the Africa Peace and Conflict Network’s (APCN) new website, africapeace.org. The site is steadily being refined and expanded, so periodic visits are recommended.
APCN’s site has much free content, incl. refereed publications like research papers, photo-essays, & podcasts. New publications are released periodically, and automatic delivery is available via RSS feed. Our electronic publications are to be supplemented with a refereed, print journal, the forthcoming Review of African Conflicts & Peacebuilding.
We invite submissions of manuscripts or multimedia pieces analyzing issues broadly related to conflict or peace in Africa. Additionally, submissions welcome of book & film reviews and of analytical reports on conferences/workshops/symposia.
Book reviewers may select titles from the books available list: http://africapeace.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=14&Itemid=26. Unsolicited book/film reviews are also accepted.
Author & submittal guidelines are in the Publications section of africapeace.org.
At present, APCN membership is still free. There is no cost for site registration, subscribing to the APCN email list, downloading publications, or submitting manuscripts or multimedia for publication review.
Ideas and input are always welcome. APCN’s achievements are made possible by the efforts of dedicated volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for APCN, contact us through africapeace.org. Website designers and manuscript copy editors are esp. needed, but all contributions, great & small, are valuable & appreciated.
