CARVER ACROSS THE CURRICULUM: INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACHES to TEACHING the FICTION and POETRY of RAYMOND CARVER
Cambridge Scholars Publishing
Edited by Paul B. Grant
In order to complete the above collection, I am seeking 2-3 essays from university instructors who have taught Carver's fiction and/or poetry in courses on: visual arts (painting, photography); film and media studies/adaptation; feminist studies/gender studies; editorship; nature writing; disability studies. Other fields may be considered. The volume is intended to address the needs of university instructors in preparing methods and approaches to teaching Carver's work at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, so the essays should focus on pedagogical practice - e.g., lesson plans, classroom experiences, student responses, and the advantages of teaching Carver's work using a particular approach / theoretical perspective. Please send enquiries to: pgrant@swgc.mun.ca
