The Centre for Rupert’s Land Studies at The University of Winnipeg will be hosting its 2010 Colloquium from the 19th to the 22nd of May, 2010. The Colloquium will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba. During the Colloquium, Aboriginal and fur trade researchers from many disciplines will meet in Winnipeg to share their research and interests, and take advantage of the rich history that is still being made at the Forks of the Red and Assiniboine rivers.
The Colloquium will begin May 19th with a wine and cheese reception and registration. The 20th and 21st will highlight paper presentations, panel discussions, and site visits to points of interest. Field trips will begin on the 22nd. This site will be updated as plans continue. Please plan to join us, present a paper, or just sit in on sessions and field trips.
