A call for M.A. and Ph.D students and for Post Doc. to register to a multidisciplinary summer/winter school, carried out in the framework of HMAP Mediterranean and Black Sea project and entitled:
When humanities meets ecology: historic changes in Mediterranean and Black Sea marine biodiversity and ecosystems since the Roman period until nowadays. Languages, methodologies and perspectives
The summerschool is carried out in English and includes the following disciplines, dealt with by international scholars:
archaeology; zooarchaeology; history (Roman Period; Medieval; Early Modern; Modern); anthropology; zoology; oceanography; fishery science; marine ecology;-mathematical modelling; climate science
The five days Summer School (31rd August-4th September 2010) will be held at the Abdus Salaam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy (ITCP - http://www.ictp.it/).
