Worldwide neuroses are increasing, headed by depression, numerous fears and psychosomatic complaints. But likewise the treatments of psychiatric illnesses and prophylaxis in psychosocial conflict constellations have developed into important scopes of work for psychotherapists. Psychotherapy is experiencing a strong fresh impetus all over the world, as it has reached a level of development that predestines it for the treatment of a large number of emotional disturbances.
You will be glad to know that the Asian Federation for Psychotherapy has decided to organize its 5th International Conference at Chandigarh-The beautiful city of India from 5-8 January 2010. Chandigarh is one of the very well planned beautiful City -250 Km from Delhi towards north India. It is very well connected with road, train and domestic airline.
It is hoped that this conference will encourage some of the Eastern and western psychologists to develop new and more effective integrated methods of psychotherapy.
