Frame, magazine for Literary Studies, celebrates its 25th birthday this year. To
commemorate this event a special commemorative issue will be released, concerning
the theme Life & Narrative. This special issue will be presented during a symposium
called Life & Narrative: Fact or Fiction? on Thursday the 4th of June 2009 at the
'Sweelinckzaal', Drift 21 in Utrecht. This symposium is held in cooperation with
Utrecht University and Vantilt Publishers.
The authors that have contributed to this commemorative issue, will be presenting
their articles at the symposium; Ann Rigney, Solange Leibovici, Jürgen Pieters en
Julie Rogiest, Isis Butôt and Koen Rymenants. The people of Yang magazine will
provide a poetical contribution and present the first issue of their new nY
magazine.
This symposium is subsidized by the Prins Bernhard Culture Foundation, the Elise
Mathilde Foundation and the K.F. Hein Foundation.
