To lay the groundwork for future collaborative research, advocacy, and program development. To educate social service, health care,and criminal justice professionals on
human trafficking and the needs and risks of those victimized by the commercial sex industry. Abstracts related to the needs, risks and victimization of those involved
with prostitution, sex work or trafficking are currently being accepted. Researchers, social service providers, practitioners and those interested in presenting should submit an abstract prior to June 30th, 2009. This conference is open to survivors,researchers, practitioners, activists,
and workers in the social service,criminal justice, and health care fields. Scheduled for October 1 & 2, 2009 at The University of Toledo,2801 W. Bancroft St., Toledo, OH 43606. Twelve Continuing Education Credits have been awarded in past conferences for social work, counseling, mental health,
ASSECT, RCH, CHES and CLE.
