The East African School of Human Rights is a Non Governmental not for profit based in Nairobi Kenya.The School was founded in 2002. We have been undertaking a restructuring Process and are keen on consolidating our operations in the five East African Community Countries ( Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi)as well as the Southern Sudan and The Horn of Africa. We are seeking collaboration with other Organizations, University Departments and others for the purpose of implementation of our Programs in the area of Human Rights Research Training ( Short Courses etc) Democracy building and Conflict management). We are also open to possible Joint publications and especially through our Journal The East African Journal of Human Rights and Democracy ISSN-1682-900X
We are in Particular seeking for Organizations that have capacity and competencies in Human Rights Education, Democracy Building and Conflict Resolution. Those whose work focus on Africa/East Africa will be of particular interest but we are open to sharing experiences from across the world.
