Vietnam Now! is a special topics course offered by the Program in Social Studies at Teachers College that makes use of a unique collection of newly digitized resources associated with WGBH’s 1980s broadcast of a series on the Vietnam War. Those who enroll in the course will be among the first educators in the country to have access, in digitized form, to the materials associated with the broadcast along with outtakes from the series, including extensive interviews with key figures associated with the war in the US and Southeast Asia. The course is designed for secondary and college teachers who are interested in teaching the Vietnam War and would like access to this unique resource during the course and afterwards.
