OBJECTIVES
The conference will provide variety of opportunities of interaction for researchers and policymakers in higher education to deliberate on issues of corruption in the academia and suggest modalities for reforms in higher education realizable for sustainable development in Africa
The specific objectives are to:
Promote critical thinking and reflection on challenges in education among stakeholders
Facilitate and encourage partnership and collaboration with the anti-corruption agencies in the country
Provide new opportunities to incorporate ethical practices into National Educational Reform agenda and professional etiquette
Provide a platform form for information gathering and dissemination on unethical practices in the academia and how to solve the problems.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT/ REGISTRATION
Persons wishing to present papers at the conference should submit a page abstract in Microsoft word (indicating the sub-theme addressed, Name, Institutional affiliations and address) before JULY 31st, 2009 to aocoedcoeasu2009conference@yahoo.com.Highly rated articles will be published in the book of proceedings.
Full papers are due by AUGUST 10th, 2009.
CONFERENCE FEE
Participants are to pay a conference fee of $75 (Seventy-five dollars) or N12, 500.00 covering the conference registration, bag, writing materials, refreshment and special dinner. Participants will be responsible for their own accommodation but the organizers will assist participants to secure hotel accommodation near the venue of the conference.
