The annual conference of the Transatlantic Studies Association will be held in Canterbury, England, from 13 to 16 July 2009 at Canterbury Christ Church University - within easy reach of London. The conference attracts leading scholars from the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe as well as other parts of the world. Papers are still welcome on any aspect of Transatlantic Studies in the fields of history, politics, IR, literature, film, geography etc. The deadline for papers is now 31 May 2009 and for registration 17 June. There are specialist panels, eg on NATO after 60 Years and a prestigious award for young scholars given for the best paper submitted at the conference.
