We are seeking contributions for a volume of essays that we are developing on music in film and television. We are especially interested in articles on film and television music from the 1950s and 1960s or that deal with topics that are pertinent to those decades. Other topics of interest include representations of community, conformity, suburbanization, and urban environments in film and television music, and contemporary films that look back to the 1950s and 1960s (for example, Revolutionary Road, Far From Heaven, and Pleasantville). Articles should be between 7,500 and 10,000 words in length; documentation needs to follow notes style from the Chicago Manual, 15th edition.
