The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures of the University of West Georgia invites abstracts and panel proposals from scholars in a variety of humanities fields for its 2009 Interdisciplinary Conference on History and Fiction. The conference will take place at the Cultural Arts Center in Carrollton, GA November 12-14, 2009.
Keynote address by Dr. Ed Friedman, Chancellorís Professor of Spanish and Comparative Literature and Director of the Robert Penn Warren Center for the Humanities, Vanderbilt University.
Papers may be read in English, Spanish, French, or German. Conference participants will be encouraged to expand and revise their papers for submission to JAISA: The Journal of the Association for the Interdisciplinary Study of the Arts.
